Our Love Story

Two souls from different worlds, united by love

From Arjun's World

Gujarat, India

From Arjun's World

Arjun grew up in a close-knit family in Gujarat, surrounded by vibrant festivals, aromatic spices, and the warmth of Indian hospitality. His childhood was filled with stories of heritage, traditional values, and the importance of family bonds.

From Sofia's World

Sofia was raised in Barcelona, where the Mediterranean breeze carries melodies of flamenco and the streets come alive with passion. Her upbringing embraced Spanish warmth, siesta culture, and the art of savoring life's beautiful moments.

Where Our Worlds Collided

We met at an international design conference in Paris. Arjun was presenting his sustainable architecture project; Sofia was curating the art exhibition. Between coffee breaks and late-night conversations about culture and creativity, we discovered that our differences were not barriers but bridges—each teaching the other to see the world through new eyes.

Honoring the rituals that bind us to our heritage

Indian Tradition

Saptapadi (Seven Steps)

The couple takes seven sacred steps together, each representing a vow for their married life—prosperity, strength, livestock, happiness, children, seasons of joy, and friendship.

Spanish Tradition

Las Arras (Coin Ceremony)

The groom gives the bride thirteen coins, representing Christ and his twelve apostles, symbolizing his commitment to provide and care for their family.

Indian Tradition

Mangalsutra

A sacred necklace tied by the groom around the bride's neck, symbolizing their union and the groom's promise to protect and cherish his wife.

Spanish Tradition

El Lazo (The Lasso)

A decorative cord or rosary placed in a figure-eight around the couple's shoulders, representing their everlasting bond and unity in marriage.
