December 2019
The First Meeting
We met at a mutual friend's holiday party. Michael spiked the punch (with extra fruit), and Emma laughed at his terrible jokes. Our families were introduced soon after.
Summer 2020
Family Approval
After months of video calls and socially-distanced meetups, both families finally gathered for a backyard BBQ. The dads talked grilling techniques; the moms shared recipes.
November 2024
The Proposal
Michael proposed at the same holiday party where we met, with both our families hiding in the next room. The look on everyone's faces when they burst in was priceless!
