The Artist
A lifelong love affair with needle and thread
My journey with embroidery began in my grandmother's sunlit sewing room, where I first learned that a needle could be a paintbrush and thread could be poetry. What started as simple cross-stitch patterns evolved into an obsession with the meditative rhythm of handwork and the infinite possibilities of fiber art.
After formal training in textile arts and years of studying historical embroidery techniques in museums across Europe, I developed my own voice—one that honors traditional craftsmanship while embracing contemporary aesthetics. Each piece I create is a dialogue between past and present, between the patience of the stitch and the passion of the artist.
I believe embroidery is more than decoration—it's a way of slowing down in a fast world, of creating something lasting with our own hands. When you commission a piece, you're not just buying art; you're investing in hours of focused intention, in the kind of care that can only come from human hands.
